Apple developer's conference RealityKit 2

RealityKit 2 Allows iPhone Users To Make 3D AR Models From 2D Photos

The Apple Worldwide Developers Conference is taking place this week, and while expectations that their long-awaited AR/VR headset would be revealed have turned out to be false, there was one very exciting piece of news for fans eager to see AR porn take off. This was the announcement of the next version of RealityKit, the Apple software that allows developers to create AR experiences. With RealityKit 2, this is going to be much easier than before. In fact, so easy, that you will be able to create 3D models for augmented reality through simply taking 2D photos of the object with your iPhone!

Compare this with the complicated and expensive way that sites such as Naughty America and Badoink are currently producing their AR porn content. They make use of ‘volumetric scanning’ technology, which is time consuming, difficult, and very expensive. Imagine if to make a realistic 3D avatar of a porn actress for AR, would require only taking a series of 2D photos at different angles?

This is what RealityKit 2 promises to do. With an expectation that the Apple AR headset is still on course to be released as early as the second quarter of next year, 2022 will be a big year for AR porn.

Another interesting feature of RealityKit 2 is the ability it gives to create player-controlled characters, so that users can jump, scale and explore AR worlds in RealityKit-based games.
